Private medical, travel, accident and civil liability insurance coverage for residential participants and medical, accident and civil liability for day campers.
Insurance
A physiotherapist responsible for the physical conditioning of the players is on hand during all basketball training sessions, together with first-aid qualified instructors.
During the camp, residential participants are covered by medical, accident, travel and civil liability insurance and participants in the day camp by medical, accident and civil liability insurance included in the price of the camp. It is expressly agreed that the Insurer's obligations deriving from the coverage of this policy terminate when the Insured has returned home or has been admitted to a health center located less than 25 km from home (15 km in the Balearic and Canary Islands).
Medical assistance with one of the highest coverage limits in the market, covers:
- Illnesses or accidents, with repatriation and relocation to country of origin. (Costs of physiotherapy or chiropractic care for trips of up to 3 months duration up to €200; costs of urgent dental treatment for trips of up to 3 months duration up to €200 and osts of urgent dental treatment due to accident up to 600 €)
- Early return due to the hospitalisation of a relative for more than 5 days & travel by a person in the case of hospitalisation of the insured for more than 3 days.
- Travel and baggage delays
- Material losses theft and material damage to luggage up to 3.000 €. Valuable items up to 480 €. Delay in the delivery of luggage (€ 100 every 24 hours and 100€ each additional 24hours) up to 500 €
- Search, location and sending of lost luggage
- Loss of services previously contracted
- Accidents while travelling to the camp
Optional Cancellation insurance
If desired, participants may purchase an optional cancellation insurance policy. Cancellation insurance 2024 (2025 coming soon) must be contracted at the time of reservation and payment.
