Basketball Camp in Alicante: Free time activities
A diverse leisure activity programme for campers.
Every day after the dinner and at the weekend, free time activities make the Language & Basketball Summer Camp the perfect language immersion programme in Spain.
During their stay, basketb all camp participants take part in planned activities alongside both Spanish and foreign participants from the tennis, sailing, windsurfing and golf camps.
Zador staff will accompany campers during activities. One camp counsellor for every 10-15 participants.
Activities Schedule
On Monday to Friday evening activities last for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, from 22:00 to 23:30.
Visits to Alicante city centre and the beach on Monday -evening visit after dinner from 21:00 to 23:00- and Wednesday -afternoon visit from 16:00 to 20:00-. Saturday evening there is a farewell dinner and free time until 01:00.
On Saturday activities last for approximately 6‐7 hours, from 15:00 until 01:00.
On Sunday for players attending a 2-week camp activity lasts approx. 8-9 hours, from 10:30-11:00 to 19:00-19:30.
Cultural visits in Alicante
- Visit to the Santa Barbara castle: One of the biggest medieval fortresses in Europe. It is located on the peak and hillside of the Benacantil Mountain, so, from its privileged position, you can see the entire Bay of Alicante.
- Cathedral of San Nicolás.
- Beach or Bonfire Museum to know more about Fiestas in Alicante / Crib Museum / Bullfighting Museum and Volvo Ocean Race Museum.
Excursions to amusement parks near Alicante on Saturday and Sunday
Half day day excursion to Terra Mítica amusement Park on Saturday and full day excursion to Aqualandia on Sunday.
Tasting Mediterranean cuisine
Farewell dinner on Saturday evenings
Other activities
- Games in the beach on Wednesday: football, beach-volley, paddle surf, canoeing
- Shopping afternoon on Saturday
